Who we are
SettlementAgreementGuide.co.uk is a trading name of Resolute Ventures Group Ltd (company no. 17005310), registered office Hyde Park House, Cartwright Street, Hyde SK14 4EH. We are the data controller for the personal data described here.
What we collect
- Contact details you give us: name, email, phone number
- Details of your situation and, if you send it, your settlement agreement document
- Basic technical data (browser, device, pages visited) via our analytics tool
Why we collect it
To review your settlement agreement, respond to your enquiry, and. Only with your knowledge, as part of asking for a review. To introduce you to an independent solicitor if you'd like one.
Who we share it with
If you ask for a solicitor introduction, we share the details relevant to your case with one independent, SRA-regulated solicitor firm from our panel. We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with your employer or any other third party without your consent.
How long we keep it
Enquiry data (name, email, phone, and anything about your situation) is kept for 6 months if we don't hear back from you, then deleted or anonymised. If you become a solicitor introduction, records are kept for 6 years to meet our legal and accounting obligations. Aggregated, non-identifying website usage data may be kept longer for reporting.
International transfers
We store and process personal data in the UK. Where a supplier we use (for example, our email or form provider) processes data outside the UK, we only use providers who offer equivalent legal protection, such as the UK's International Data Transfer Addendum.
Automated decision-making
We do not use automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects on you.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask to access, correct, or delete your data, or ask us to stop processing it. Email hello@settlementagreementguide.co.uk to exercise any of these rights. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).
