Complaints
If something's gone wrong, we want to know. Here's how to raise it and what happens next.
Complaints about our service
If you're unhappy with our communication, how quickly we passed on your enquiry, or any other part of the introducer service we provide, email hello@settlementagreementguide.co.uk with "Complaint" in the subject line. We aim to acknowledge every complaint within 2 working days and to give a full response within 14 days.
Complaints about a solicitor we introduced
Because the solicitors we introduce are independent and separately regulated, any complaint about the legal advice itself. Its quality, delay, or conduct. Should go directly to the solicitor firm first, using their own complaints procedure. If you remain unhappy after that, solicitors regulated by the SRA are also overseen by the Legal Ombudsman, who can independently review unresolved complaints about legal services.
Let us know too. If a firm on our panel receives a serious or repeated complaint, we review whether to keep working with them.
Complaints about how we handle your data
For anything relating to your personal data, see our privacy policy. You can also complain directly to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), the UK's data protection regulator.
What we can't help with
We can't advise on the merits of your legal case, negotiate directly with your employer, or override the professional judgement of an independent solicitor. Doing so would go beyond our role as an introducer, and could put your legal protection at risk.
For general questions, contact us. For anything relating to how we're funded, see how we're paid.
